Yoga with Tianjin

Tianjin Lawless-Jennings

image4Tianjin is from Sydney, Australia and is currently based in Amsterdam where she is teaching yoga and running workshops and retreats. Tianjin grew up in a healthy household and went with her mum to her first yoga class at a very young age. Even as a teenager she already felt the benefits of the practice and soon realised how yoga affected her life in many ways and on many levels.

Over the years as she studied, worked in the corporate and food industries, started Flawless Feast and traveled, her yoga practice was something she always returned to. It has always been a huge part of her life. She practiced many styles and her practice deepened. She then decided to become a teacher with the International Yoga Teachers Association (IYTA) in Australia. She started teaching in Australia, continued to further her yoga education and then relocated to Amsterdam to continue this journey. During her own pregnancy she qualified in Prenatal Yoga in London and has continued her studies into Ayurveda.


image5For Tianjin, her yoga mat is where she goes everyday to reconnect, re-align and bring balance to her body, mind, and life. She believes yoga is a beautiful, healing and powerful practice which encourages mindfulness, awareness and acceptance.

Her classes are fun, dynamic, corrective, strengthening and accessible. And she enjoys sharing her passion, love and knowledge of yoga in her classes and witnessing the huge benefits it has to her students lives.

Tianjin teaches Vinyasa, Yin Yang, Yin, Relax & Restore and Prenatal Yoga with a focus on the seasons and the main organ systems (meridians / energy pathways) of the body, inspired by the Japanese Ryoho style which she practiced under her Mentor. Her classes adapt with the ever-changing seasons as they affect the way we move in our body and how the mind functions. Her Ayurveda studies play a large role in her teachings with the seasons.

Through particular yoga postures, practices and daily routines we can keep our bodies and minds vital and healthy as we move through the seasons. I hope to see you on the mat or at one of our workshops or retreats soon.
